I was recently asked which poker sites has the world largest online poker room.  Currently the largest online poker room is PokerStars.com. PokerStars frequently has over 120,000 players online at the same time!

Many people think the largest online poker room is Full Tilt Poker, this is mainly due to all the Full Tilt Poker advertising during the World Series of Poker (WSOP).  Full Tilt Poker is currently the second largest online poker room.

Another popular room is Party Poker.  Party Poker was the worlds largest online poker room until 2006, when the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) passed.  When the UIGEA passed, Party Poker stopped accepting USA customers and they gave up their title of the largest online poker room.
