Business Networking International
(BNI) is a highly successful referral marketing organisation
which exists to help its members gain new business.
There are something like 550 BNI Chapters in the UK
and one of the most successful of these is the Black
Pear Chapter which meets at Bromsgrove Rugby Club every
Friday morning. See
www.bni-blackpear.co.uk.
It is very important to BNI that visitors
who are not yet members attend these meetings. Such
visitors are potential new members but also potential
customers and suppliers to the established members of
the Chapter.
All members of BNI make efforts to
invite visitors on a regular basis but Black Pear have
introduced an innovation whereby QT provide an additional
resource and systematically invite visitors on behalf
of the Chapter.
As QT themselves are members of BNI
they are in a unique position to explain to interested
parties the benefits of attending the meetings and ultimately
joining the organisation. This service is now bearing
fruit for Black Pear and QT and similar campaigns are
under way for two additional local Chapters.
Tony Burt, Chapter Director of BNI
Black Pear says: "The fact that QT know how BNI
works together with their excellent telemarketing skills
puts them in a unique position to boost vistor numbers
at BNI meetings. The small investment required to achieve
this is minor compared to the benefits of increased
visitor numbers."
